Job Description

Our client in Torrance, CA is looking for a Motion Graphics Designer. This is a contract position.

What You Will Do:

• Collaborate with Honda Advance Design Digital Team: Work closely with the AD Digital team to develop 3D motion graphics content that effectively communicates the team’s vision and creates impactful visual presentation materials.
• Animate Stock Images and Existing Graphics: Transform static images into dynamic animations to support the creation of animated storyboards. Use stock images and existing graphics to illustrate 3D user experiences, including graphics motion, transitions, and vehicle movement.
• Create New Graphics: Develop new graphics when suitable stock images are not available to effectively convey the story.
• Produce High-Fidelity Visuals: Deliver mid to high-fidelity visual content.
• Utilize Provided Resources: Honda will supply car interior and exterior 3D data, general layout, and creative direction.
• Use Various Tools: Employ tools such as After Effects, Cinema 4D, and others as needed.
• Make Creative Adjustments: Throughout the project, make necessary creative adjustments based on team feedback, final executive reviews and showcases.
• Support VR Experience Creation: After mid-February, provide support for visualizing and creating a VR experience.

Requirements

What You Will Need:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in motion graphics and animation.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in After Effects, Cinema 4D, and other relevant animation tools.
• Creative Skills: Strong creative vision and the ability to translate concepts into compelling visual content.
• Collaboration: Excellent teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate with the AD Digital team.
• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Adaptability: Ability to make creative adjustments based on feedback and evolving project requirements.
• Auto UX/UI Experience: Prior experience in automotive UX/UI design is a plus.
