Job Description

Looking for photographers interested in seasonal/part-time Freelance Photography. Starting wage at $18-$20 per hour, making this a fun and rewarding job! Designer Studios is seeking friendly, responsible, and creative individuals with reliable transportation to join our team as Sports Photographers in Snohomish County, WA. In this role, you will set up in a new location each day and take high-quality sports portraits, capturing memories that will last a lifetime while working with children. This position is not a desk job; every day will present unique experiences.

Job Responsibilities

As a Sports Photographer, you will:

• Direct and photograph children for sports portraits, ensuring an enjoyable experience.
• Provide clear Picture Day direction and expectations for parents, coaches, and children.
• Organize materials and assemble necessary equipment, ensuring all supplies are available on Picture Day.
• Maintain and transport equipment safely between locations.
• Represent Designer in a professional manner while adhering to all company rules.

Job Requirements

Specific qualifications for the Sports Photographer position include:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous work experience and ability to positively interact with both school-age children and adults.
• Ability to present a positive and professional image.
• Highly reliable and dependable.
• Strong customer-service skills and ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
• Willingness to work a varied seasonal schedule, including early mornings, late nights, and long days as necessary.
• Willingness to travel.
• Valid driver’s license, as well as reliable, insured, and registered transportation (in compliance with state laws) to reach assigned locations and transport photography equipment.
• Ability to lift and operate camera equipment, up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to pass a background check, including a Motor Vehicle check.
• Photographic experience is a plus but not required as comprehensive training is offered.
