Job Description
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Camera Operator to join our creative team. This role involves capturing high-quality footage for various projects, including video production, photography, and live events. The ideal candidate will possess a strong eye for visual storytelling, technical proficiency with industry-standard equipment and software, and a passion for producing compelling visual content. Requirements
- Proven experience in videography, filming, or related media production roles
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator) and video editing software such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro
- Strong understanding of post-production processes including editing, color correction, and motion graphics
- Knowledge of photography principles and techniques
- Ability to operate various types of professional camera equipment and accessories
- Creative eye for composition, framing, and storytelling through visuals
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Prior experience with Adobe After Effects is a plus
Duties
- Operate professional cameras to shoot footage for videos, commercials, events, and other media productions
- Collaborate with directors and producers to understand project requirements and visual goals
- Set up camera equipment, including lighting and sound accessories, to ensure optimal shot quality
- Capture high-quality photographs and video content using videography and photography skills
- Manage camera settings such as focus, exposure, white balance, and framing during shoots
- Assist in post-production processes by providing footage for editing and motion graphics
- Edit video clips using Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or other editing software to create polished final products
- Enhance videos with motion graphics and visual effects using Adobe After Effects or Adobe Illustrator
- Maintain and troubleshoot camera equipment to ensure proper functioning during shoots
- Stay updated on industry trends and new filming techniques to improve production quality
