Job Description

We are looking for a passionate, adventure-driven freelance photographer based in Los Angeles to capture the essence of unique activities across the city and surrounding areas. You will be creating visual content that inspires travelers to experience the world, while also exploring new places and engaging with real people.

Requirements

• Experience working in a documentary style of photography, capturing real-life events in a natural and engaging manner.
• Flexibility to work in diverse environments and activity types (city tours, water activities, performances, etc.).
• Comfortable giving direction to real people during shoots and requesting model release signatures from recognizable customers.
• Able to follow briefs, take direction, and meet specific deadlines.
• Familiarity with Google Drive and Google Sheets.
• Effective communication with activity providers prior to shoots.
• Fluent in English and properly registered as a freelancer in your country of residence.

Minimum Equipment Requirements for Photo

• A professional full-frame sensor DSLR or mirrorless camera supporting industry-standard professional RAW formats.
• 16mm–35mm lenses for wide-angle shots; max 135mm lens for close-ups.
• Editing experience with Lightroom and/or Capture One.

Extras That Give You an Edge

• Professional full-frame cameras capable of 10-bit 4:2:2 recordings (e.g., Sony A7S III, Panasonic Lumix S1, Canon C series).
• Gimbal and other grip equipment (sliders, tripods, etc.).
• Editing experience with Premiere Pro.
