JOB DESCRIPTION

This is an in-person/on site/on location role. Applicant must have reliable transportation around The DMV (DC/Maryland/Virginia/Delaware) area. Plush Marketing Agency is seeking a talented, bubbly, friendly, professional, and versatile Photographer on a freelance basis. Wedding Photographers are highly encouraged to apply! The ideal candidate will have their own high-end equipment, including a quality camera and professional lighting, and must be flexible primarily during weekdays (Monday to Friday from 9 am-6 pm). Shoots will be scheduled with as much notice as possible. Freelance photographers will work on a diverse range of shoots across various industries including restaurants, bars, distilleries, bakeries, hospitals, legal offices, boutiques, malls, art galleries, real estate management companies, and realtors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Capture high-quality images in RAW high resolution format, edited by you, included in your price.
• Own and proficiently use your equipment to achieve optimal photographic results.
• Have experience shooting food, lifestyle, headshots, and wedding images.
• Apply advanced photographic techniques to produce desired effects and convey a story with your work.
• Utilize lighting techniques to capture well-exposed imagery.
• Select appropriate camera settings and equipment on location to capture the desired images.
• Work creatively under tight deadlines and build strong client relationships.
• Maintain effective communication with the PMA team and demonstrate adaptability and collaboration.
• Be punctual for shoots, accommodating various styles, preferences, and personalities. ON TIME IS LATE
• Manage content editing and timely uploads.

QUALIFICATIONS + SKILLS

• Experience exposing the camera.
• Experience in managing photoshoots and coordinating groups of people with a positive attitude.
• Friendly, punctual, and highly positive demeanor.
• Excellent collaboration skills with other creative professionals.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Adaptable to multiple projects, with excellent organization and time management skills.
• Eager to learn and grow within Plush Marketing Agency.

EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or GED certificate.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in photography with a strong portfolio.
• Proficient in Dropbox and Adobe Suite (Photoshop strongly preferred).
• Experience working with a marketing team is a plus.
• Ability to work weekdays and some weekends.
