Job Description

Software Engineer – Java / Web Applications (EDI & Medicaid Systems)
This role involves assessing, designing, developing, supporting, and implementing the State’s Member Management Replacement Project and other initiatives. The Software Engineer will be part of a Production Support team under Clemson’s Technical Project Manager, focusing on support and maintenance of newly developed technologies. The project team is responsible for the core framework functionality of the State’s EDI Services and Medicaid Web Portal application, working on behalf of the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS).

• 7+ years of experience with JavaScript
• 7+ years of experience with jQuery
• 7+ years of experience with EDI transactions
• 7+ years of experience with JDBC
• Strong Java development experience

• UC4 (Workload Automation) experience
• ActiveMQ experience
• Unix/Linux variants and shell scripting
• SQL development experience
• MongoDB experience
• Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) experience
