Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly creative and technically skilled Senior Motion Graphics Designer to join their dynamic team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to contribute your exceptional design talents from anywhere in the US. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and animating high-quality motion graphics for a variety of projects, including marketing campaigns, explainer videos, social media content, and internal communications.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and animate engaging motion graphics for diverse media platforms.
• Collaborate with creative directors, art directors, and marketing teams to understand project requirements and brand guidelines.
• Develop storyboards, style frames, and animatics to visualize concepts and communicate design direction.
• Create visually compelling 2D and 3D animations, character animations, typography, and visual effects.
• Edit and assemble raw footage with motion graphics to create polished final products.
• Ensure all motion graphics assets are optimized for various platforms and delivery requirements.
• Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in motion graphics, animation, and visual design.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Provide creative input and feedback to team members.
• Maintain a strong understanding of brand identity and visual storytelling principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Film, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience as a Motion Graphics Designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical abilities.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Strong experience with 3D animation software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender) is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of animation principles, typography, color theory, and composition.
• Experience with visual effects (VFX) and compositing.
• Excellent storytelling and visual communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate seamlessly in a remote team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing polished, high-quality work.
• Experience with project management tools is a plus.
