Job Description

The Human Growth Foundation (HGF) is seeking an experienced videographer for a one-day, in-person nonprofit event: HGF Family Day – Skeletal Dysplasia. This event focuses on education, community, and support for individuals and families affected by rare growth and bone conditions.

Event Date: Saturday, January 17, 2026

Shift Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM EST

Location: Baltimore, MD (Exact venue will be provided upon hiring)

Responsibilities

• Arrive by 8:00 AM to set up and prepare equipment
• Capture high-quality footage of event highlights, including:
• Registration/check-in
• Speakers and presentations
• Exhibitors
• Family activities and interactions
• Ensure all footage is steady, well-framed, and professionally captured
• Work with the Event Manager to ensure key moments and program elements are covered
• Conduct brief attendee or staff interviews (if requested)
• Deliver the completed video files following the required specifications within 24 hours after the event
• Provide all necessary professional equipment (camera, batteries, microphones, SD cards, etc.)

Requirements

• Resolution: 1080p minimum
• Frame Rate: 24–60 fps
• Format: All footage must be delivered in .mp4
• Final files must be delivered within 24 hours of the event ending

Qualifications

• Experience filming live events or comparable environments
• Ability to capture clean audio (external mic preferred)
• Attention to detail and strong understanding of framing and lighting
• Professional, friendly, and comfortable interacting with families and medical professionals
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Must use personal equipment
• Portfolio or sample work strongly preferred

Compensation

• Flat one-time payment of $300 for the event shift
• Opportunity to support a meaningful nonprofit mission
• Light refreshments will be provided
