Job Description

We are looking for a skilled iOS Developer to join Walmart’s engineering team in Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience building and maintaining high-quality iOS applications using Swift and modern Apple frameworks. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using Swift (Objective-C is a plus)
• Work with Xcode, iOS SDK, and Apple frameworks to build scalable and performant mobile applications
• Integrate iOS applications with RESTful APIs and backend services
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance, stability, and usability
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver high-quality features
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Ensure code quality through best practices, reviews, and testing
• Support deployment and post-release maintenance

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in iOS application development
• Strong proficiency in Swift (Objective-C knowledge is an added advantage)
• Hands-on experience with Xcode, iOS SDK, UIKit, and Apple frameworks
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and app integration
• Experience with app performance tuning, memory management, debugging, and optimization
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work onsite (hybrid) in Sunnyvale, CA

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working with Walmart or large-scale enterprise applications
• Experience building apps used by a large user base
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications
• Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks
