Job Description

This is a Temporary Position. The Sr. Designer is responsible for developing a product line representative of the brand, supporting the Wholesale business. This position is based in our NYC office and requires working on-site five days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Study markets, shop retail, and interact with consumers to establish trends.
• Source and choose materials (leather, fabric, ornamentation) for samples.
• Present samples as envisioned.
• Attend tradeshows.
• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with support and resources as needed.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent experience in art.
• Minimum of 5 years in the fashion-related industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Compensation

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $95K-$100K. In order to support the Fair Compensation Strategy by the US Govt., HR Dept., clients are required to adhere to “Pay Transparency Law”; in the impacted states, which mandates employers to list the salary ranges in job advertisements or postings for job opportunities and promotions.
