Job Description

The Sports Hub owns and operates Small Goal Soccer (SGS) and Arizona Sports League (AZSL), running some of the largest and most exciting adult recreational sports leagues in the country. We’re looking for a freelance Sports Content Creator who can capture the energy of our leagues and turn it into standout social content. Your role will involve filming on-field highlights, player reactions, and interviews, as well as creating energetic short-form videos and engaging social media content. This is project-based contract work typically during evening league nights, with flexible hours and consistent recurring opportunities.

Requirements

• Experience creating sports, lifestyle, or event content (your portfolio > your resume).
• Strong short-form video skills — shooting + editing.
• Comfort using a smartphone or camera for high-energy content.
• Ability to turn raw clips into clean edits fast.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and current formats.
• A feel for storytelling and capturing real moments.
• Must enjoy sports environments — sports background is a bonus, not required.
• Reliable, self-directed, and comfortable working on location in Phoenix (for AZSL) or other SGS markets as needed.

• Photography

• Basic analytics understanding

Compensation

• Contract / freelance
• Paid per event, per content package, or per project depending on experience
• Consistent ongoing work available (multiple nights per week during seasons)
