Job Description
We are seeking a Mobile Application Developer to work with Government offices in Pontiac, MI. This is currently slated to be a 3-month contract with possible extension. The ideal candidate will be able to commit to the full term and may be in between assignments or an independent consultant.
The Mobile Application Developer will develop and maintain mobile applications to ensure users can access the County’s services on various mobile platforms. Responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, deploying mobile applications, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance for mobile users.
Specific tasks include:
- Installing and configuring a proof of concept TAK Server on the County server network
- Integrating the TAK server with users who have the TAKAware iOS app on their phones to show locations of all users in a group
- Integrating the TAK server with the CLEMIS Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system
- Ensuring integration covers live incidents, unit statuses, and unit locations
- Enabling CAD information display within ATAK on Android and within TAKAware on iOS
- Ensuring secure, reliable connections from mobile devices that comply with CJIS standards
- Assisting CLEMIS in securing the application behind OKTA
Requirements
MUST be local and currently living within a commutable distance to the site - Please do not apply if you are not.
