Job Description
The Musical Director will be working with the director on the spring musical Shrek Jr.. The MD is responsible for teaching the cast the songs and can use tracks or their own accompaniment. The position begins during auditions on February 2, with one meeting with the director prior to this, and continues through performances on May 15 and 16, with a preview on May 14. Rehearsals are scheduled from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday, with extended rehearsals until 6:00 PM during the two weeks of tech. There are a few three-day weeks and a week-long break in mid-March.
Requirements
Anticipated total commitment is 124 hours, with compensation of approximately $3,000 (around $25 per hour). The role is categorized as Temporary and Contract.
Pay ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour.
Work location is in person.

The role may involve flexible scheduling during rehearsals and requires commitment to both the rehearsal and performance schedule.
