Orange County Film Festival 2026

Costume Designer is needed in United States.

We are seeking a seamstress or costume designer who can create 1960’s atomic space themed costumes for the 2026 Orange County Film Festival, a student event for high schoolers across Orange County. The project involves producing 8-10 interchangeable pieces each for male and female participants. You would also be responsible for sourcing various fabrics and textures to bring the creative vision to life. The final costumes need to be ready by the end of February. You can see visual references at the provided online folder. While you do not have to be on site, you must be based in the United States. Our organization provides free summer workshops and continued support to student filmmakers and alumni, and we can offer credit and help to advertise your work.

Who are you, and what do you do?
My name is Brianna, and I am the co-director of the 2026 Orange County Film Festival. It is a student film festival for kids across Orange County High Schools. We have over 400 entries with no entry fee. Our students get free summer workshops and we continue to support and work with alumni after graduation. We would be more than happy to help advertise and credit your work. This year theme happens to be 1960’s atomic space!
