Job Description

The Senior Data Architect is responsible for designing and building relational databases, developing strategies for data acquisition and archiving, and ensuring optimal data management practices within an organization. This role includes maintaining a centralized registry of metadata and ensuring compliance with EIR Accessibility standards. The candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing data infrastructure and analytics initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with organizational goals while providing thought leadership on data modeling and analytics best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, data modeling, and analytics, contributing to the transformation of healthcare through innovative data solutions.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing (on-prem and cloud technologies).
• 10+ years of experience with business intelligence and big data solutions.
• 10+ years of experience with healthcare data standards like FHIR, CCDA, and HL-7 (preferred).
• 10+ years of proven experience in leading and managing advanced analytics projects.
• 10+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (required).
• 10+ years of experience in developing, deploying, and managing applications and data storage on cloud platforms.
• 10+ years of strong knowledge of data architecture principles and best practices.
• 10+ years of proficiency in SQL and other database technologies.
• 10+ years of knowledge of advanced analytics tools and strategies.
• 10+ years of strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• 10+ years of ability to lead teams and manage complex projects.
• 10+ years of proficiency in cloud infrastructure management, understanding of cloud-based data storage options, cloud security considerations, and best practices for deploying applications in the cloud.
• 10+ years of experience in developing and maintaining enterprise data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support analytics and reporting.
• 10+ years of experience in integrating emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and big data analytics in healthcare.
• 10+ years of experience working closely with data engineers, developers, and analysts to ensure seamless data accessibility and usability.
• 10+ years of experience with ETL tools, data integration platforms, and APIs.
• 10+ years of experience with EHR integration, APIs, and real-time streaming.
• 10+ years of experience in architecting and designing ETL pipelines using Informatica tools.
