Job Description

Position: Social Media Content Creator / On Camera Personality (Freelance, Local to Chicago)

Company: Joycoast, a sustainable wooden accessories brand

Pay: $20/hour

Time Commitment: Approximately 5 to 10 hours per week with flexibility and room to grow

Joycoast is a Chicago-based lifestyle brand seeking a creative and outgoing content creator to capture engaging, behind-the-scenes social media content. This in-person role includes weekly filming sessions at our Lincoln Park store, meeting with the founder typically on Mondays or Tuesdays to batch film content for 3 to 5 hours. The content will feature product showcases, behind-the-scenes moments, and personality-driven videos that are entertaining and authentic. Your focus will be on ideation and filming, with editing handled by our social media manager.

Additionally, you may connect with local influencers to assist in building brand awareness, while maintaining the weekly hour range.

Requirements

Seeking a candidate who is:

• Creative and fun
• Comfortable on camera
• Reliable
• Experienced in short form video on Instagram and TikTok

Local to Chicago is a must. Having your own equipment is a plus; however, we do provide iPhones, mics, a DJI Osmo, and a Canon Rebel T7i.

Preferred experience includes:

• 1 year of videography experience
