Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, diligent, and well-mannered Videographer/Photographer Assistant. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in videography and photography while working in dynamic environments. We usually work in small teams of 1-3 people per shoot. The shoots are typically corporate events, interviews with b-roll, and product videos.

Requirements

Duties:

• Assist in setting up equipment for filming and photoshoots. Ensuring that equipment is organized and in a safe place. Active listening skills are essential.
• Support the videographer and photographer during shoots by managing gear, adjusting lighting, and capturing additional footage or images as needed.
• Help with staging shots based on the videographer’s or photographer’s requests.
• Capturing smart phone behind-the-scenes videos and photos.

Experience:

• Ability to work safely and efficiently as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
• Strong organizational skills for equipment care.
• Basic knowledge of videography and photography techniques, including filming, lighting, framing, and composition.
• Intermediate knowledge of mirrorless cameras, lighting equipment, and sound equipment.
• Prior video or photo production experience is a plus but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.

Additional Information

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 10 per week
