Backend Developer Needed – API WhatsApp Bot
We are developing a WhatsApp-first MVP that enables users to upload medical reports, such as PDF or image files, directly via WhatsApp and retrieve them later. The project requires integration with the WhatsApp Business API to receive incoming files through webhooks, collect additional details from users (like date, hospital, and report type), and store both the files and their metadata securely, using a service like AWS S3 or DigitalOcean Spaces for files and a database for metadata. Users should also be able to retrieve previous reports via WhatsApp commands. The role is remote and for a single project; the exact timeframe can be determined with the chosen expert.
