Nepal Children's Book Illustration
Children’s Book Illustrator is needed in Kathmandu, Nepal.
MUST BE BASED IN NEPAL! We are seeking a Nepal-based illustrator to join our children’s book series, Wander & Wonder. This part of the project focuses on Nepal, following the journey of Felix Wanderfoot, a young explorer from Yorkshire. The aim is to encourage social and climate sustainability by introducing children to Nepal’s culture, wildlife, and landscapes through authentic local art and perspective. The illustrator will be responsible for final character designs (a local Nepalese child and animal sidekick), full cover artwork including series branding, 12–15 double-page color spreads, front and end matter illustrations, a cultural glossary, interactive and scrapbook pages, and print-ready files formatted to a specific trim size. The ideal collaborator is based in Nepal, produces colorful, whimsical artwork for young children, and can help highlight cultural details to make the story feel genuine.
