Job Description

1. Connect various systems, applications, and technologies, including SAP S/4HANA, Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM), Microsoft Dynamics 365, cloud telephony and IVR, web portals, mobile apps, and middleware systems to ensure seamless integration for optimal performance.

2. Analyze integration models for solution components and assess options for high-volume processing.

3. Apply best practices leveraging on-demand open APIs to reduce data replication and enhance performance.

4. Lead the development and implementation of solutions that meet tolling project requirements, including integration with SAP, CRM, Azure cloud services, and external systems.

5. Design robust integrations between various systems and optimize IVR systems to improve customer interactions and operational efficiency.

6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality tolling solutions on schedule.

7. Stay updated on best practices and emerging technologies, recommend innovative solutions, and apply best practices towards APIs.

8. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and build middleware workflows.

9. Apply data protection strategies for sensitive customer data and implement observability tools for monitoring.

10. Document workflows, including technical designs, test plans, and best practices.

11. Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.

12. Develop and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders, and adhere to commission standards and policies.

13. Work independently and utilize technology tools as required.

14. Perform related tasks as assigned by the Commission.

Requirements

• 8+ years in integration/middleware development, with at least 3+ years in a senior or lead role.

• 7+ years of backend development experience using .Net.

• 5+ years of backend development experience using Python.

• 3+ years of backend development using GoLang.

• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and decentralized microservices architecture.

• At least 2 implementation projects utilizing decentralized event-based microservices architecture.

• Solid understanding of concurrency, memory management, and performance optimization in Go and .Net.

• Proficiency in development tools like Podman and orchestration (Kubernetes).

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).

Desired Skillset

• 10+ years developing complex systems integrations in high-volume environments (SAP, MS Dynamics 365, Azure).

• Experience with IVR systems, particularly in tolling or customer-facing environments.

• Integration experience with SAP BRIM for subscription billing and retail POS/eCommerce systems.

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Kafka, Azure Event Hub) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).

• Advanced Azure, Kubernetes, or integration platform certifications are desirable.

• Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

Engagement Requirements

• Preferred candidate location within the Continental United States; remote work until further notice.

• Onsite presence required one week per month and for post go-live support activities at commission locations.

• Must attend an onsite orientation session and complete necessary onboarding documentation including criminal history checks.

• Compliance with IT Standards and guidelines while working virtually is expected.

• Overtime requests require prior approval from the Project Principal.
