Job Description

ZiMAD, a leading mobile game developer and publisher based in Florida, is expanding its successful mobile game portfolio to the web by porting popular mobile titles to online platforms. The goal is to attract new users, monetize effectively, and guide them back to mobile properties for a seamless cross-platform experience. The team has partnerships with renowned IPs such as Disney and Nickelodeon, focusing on mental well-being and remarkable user experiences.

Work Format: You will collaborate with an experienced game designer, receive continuous feedback, perform clear tasks, and gradually take on more responsibilities. Opportunities for growth and advancement will be available based on steady progress and mutual interest.

Requirements for the Role

What You Will Do:

  • Participate in core gameplay improvement, focusing on game cycles, progression, and onboarding.
  • Prepare design documentation, including short PRDs, feature descriptions, balance tables, and game economy notes.
  • Work on and refine small features and events such as daily missions, boosters, offers, and limited-time modes.
  • Assist with LiveOps by planning, setting up events and content updates, and providing QA for them.
  • Analyze player behavior, focusing on funnels, retention, engagement, and monetization, and share improvement ideas.
  • Study internal and competitor games, documenting insights and conclusions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, analytics, QA, artists, and developers during regular releases.

Previous Experience is an Advantage

  • Mini portfolio showcasing a prototype, mode, set of levels, project from a game jam, or analysis of an existing game.
  • Basic knowledge of Unity or similar logic/script tools.
  • Experience working with Figma, Miro, Notion, and Google Sheets.
  • Understanding of product metrics, funnels, and basics of game economy.
