Job Description

Are you a passionate and innovative web designer eager to craft compelling digital experiences? We are a boutique Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) agency working primarily with eCommerce and SaaS brands. We are seeking a skilled Web Designer to support ongoing client work by designing high-quality, conversion-focused web pages.

On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be designing websites and landing pages based on CRO briefs, wireframes, and design direction provided by our team. You’ll collaborate closely with CRO managers, developers, and project managers to execute clean, conversion-focused designs across multiple clients. This role is design-focused and centered on executing websites, landing pages, and responsive web layouts from clear direction and CRO briefs. This is not a software engineering or product design role, and front-end development experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Design responsive website and landing pages primarily for eCommerce and SaaS clients with clear hierarchy and conversion intent.
• Hands-on experience executing website and landing page designs from CRO briefs, including developer handoff, responsive behavior, and web design constraints.
• Working knowledge of WordPress and Shopify.
• Support multiple client projects simultaneously in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Collaborate with CRO managers, developers, and project managers via Slack and Monday.com.
• Participate in design reviews and occasional client-facing meetings.
• Design engaging, responsive websites that align with client branding and marketing goals while adapting designs to performance goals.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience designing and delivering high-converting websites within a CRO agency, or freelance, multi-client environment.
• Strong proficiency in Figma and modern web design workflows.
• Demonstrated experience designing eCommerce and/or SaaS websites (landing pages, PDPs, pricing pages, marketing sites).
• Solid understanding of web design best practices, usability, and responsive behavior.
• Comfortable executing designs quickly and iterating based on feedback.
• Working knowledge of Shopify and WordPress.
• Ability to communicate professionally with internal teams and clients as needed.
• Availability to work primarily within Pacific Time business hours (8:00 AM–4:00 PM) for collaboration and meetings.

Nice to Have (but Not Required)

• Experience supporting CRO or A/B testing programs.
• Familiarity with tools like Hotjar, GA4, or Convert (high-level).
• Basic understanding of front-end constraints (HTML/CSS).

Location & Engagement

• U.S.-based candidates only.
• Independent contractors only (not part of an agency).
• This position will start at approximately 20–25 hours per week, with the opportunity to grow into a longer-term or full-time engagement.

Compensation

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
