Character design and concept artist
We are looking for an experienced character and concept artist to create compelling artwork for our company’s website, which is focused on a series of science fiction novels. The project is a single job with the potential for follow-up work. You will collaborate remotely with Romulus Press to produce high-quality concept art that aligns with our science fiction publishing brand. This included character designs and world building settings. We are looking for someone who has good traditional art aesthetics, while blending it with modern techniques. No artificial intelligence art generation please, I have used AI for some concept art, but want (eventually) to have all human made art for the promotional material, character art and concept art. Bottom line, looking for good fundamental art done by traditional human artists. Don’t have a particular style in mind, but it being science fiction so it should fit with more realistic aesthetics. Not looking for anime or cartoony style. This book series is marketed toward adult readers, so looking for art that reflects the thought provoking philosophical speculative science fiction world in the novels. Please include links for us to review your past work or your online portfolio. Thank you!
