Videographer is needed in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

We are seeking a skilled videographer and content creator to support two developing brands: Soma Living and Motilal Realty. Soma Living is a design-forward e-commerce startup focusing on artisan-made furniture and homeware, requiring content that highlights craftsmanship, design, and storytelling across various platforms such as Instagram, website, and marketing channels. You will film products in both studio and lifestyle environments, producing visuals that showcase material, process, and brand stories. Motilal Realty needs video content for property projects, brand refresh, and marketing, focusing on clean visuals and investor-facing materials, including progress videos and before-and-after footage. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, have a proven track record in videography and content creation, and understand branding and visual consistency. The work will be primarily based out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with a hybrid onsite/remote approach.

Who are you, and what do you do?
I’m an entrepreneur with a strong interest in design, craftsmanship, and property, currently focused on building Soma Living as a long-term, design-led e-commerce brand. Soma Living is a startup focused on traditional, artisan-made furniture and homeware for modern living. We work closely with skilled craftsmen to create timeless pieces that celebrate material, process, and understated design. Alongside Soma Living, I’m also involved in property investment and refurbishment projects with Motilal Realty Sdn Bhd, managing and repositioning real estate assets as part of a broader long-term growth strategy. This includes content across lifestyle, product, and property — from brand storytelling and social media to documentation of refurbishment and development projects. I value working relationships that are collaborative, detail-oriented, and long-term, and I’m looking to work with creative professionals who care about quality and consistency as much as I do.
