Job Description

Rodeo FX, a high-end creative company offering services in visual effects, advertising, animation, and experiential, is seeking senior VFX animators specializing in facial animation and body mechanics animation. The Freelance Animation Artist will create hyper-realistic animation for creatures, characters, and objects, ensuring to meet the high quality standards of Rodeo FX.

Main responsibilities include developing performance and movement for a variety of animate and inanimate objects, collaborating with the Animation Lead and Supervisor on creative and technical solutions, participating in tool and technique development, performing quality control on shots, and keeping the production team informed about work status and potential delays.

Requirements

Qualifications for the role include:

• Experience in a similar position within the VFX industry;
• Excellent knowledge of Maya software;
• Good knowledge of body mechanics and facial animation;
• Excellent sense of prioritization and respect for deadlines.
