Job Description

This is a remote position for a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer who builds scalable, high-performance web and mobile apps using Next.js, React Native, and TypeScript—combining clean, type-safe code with a strong focus on user experience and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Feature Development: Architect and implement complex UI features using React, Next.js (App Router), and React Native.
• Cross-Platform Synergy: Maintain a shared logic layer (hooks, utilities, and state) to ensure consistency between web and mobile platforms.
• Performance Engineering: Optimize web applications for Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP) and mobile apps for smooth 120Hz animations and minimal bundle sizes.
• API Integration: Collaborate with backend teams to design and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs using type-safe tools like TanStack Query or tRPC.
• UI/UX Translation: Work closely with designers (Figma) to implement pixel-perfect, accessible (WCAG compliant) interfaces and design systems.
• Code Quality: Conduct rigorous code reviews, mentor junior developers, and maintain a high standard of documentation.

Requirements

• JavaScript & TypeScript: Expert-level proficiency in modern ECMAScript (ES2024+) and advanced TypeScript patterns (Generics, Discriminated Unions, etc.).
• React & Next.js: Extensive experience with the Next.js App Router, React Server Components (RSC), and Server Actions.
• React Native: Proven track record of shipping production-grade mobile apps using Expo or React Native CLI, including experience with Reanimated and Native Modules.
• State Management: Proficiency in modern state management solutions such as Zustand, Jotai, or Redux Toolkit.
• Styling: Expertise in Tailwind CSS for web and NativeWind or Styled Components for mobile styling.
• Testing: Experience writing unit and integration tests using Vitest, React Testing Library, and E2E testing with Playwright or Maestro (for mobile).

Preferred Qualifications

• AI Tooling: Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or custom LLM integrations).
• Backend Awareness: Basic understanding of Node.js, serverless functions (Vercel/AWS), and database schemas.
• CI/CD: Experience setting up automated pipelines for web deployment (Vercel/Netlify) and mobile app store distribution (Fastlane/EAS).
• Mobile Specifics: Experience with Push Notifications, Deep Linking, and Offline-first architecture.
