Job Description
We’re hiring a Web Developer who can confidently build, customize, and maintain Shopify and WordPress websites. This is not a learning role—you should already be comfortable working in both platforms and shipping production-ready sites.
Responsibilities
- Build, customize, and maintain Shopify and WordPress websites
- Develop custom themes, templates, and page layouts
- Implement new features, integrations, and third-party apps/plugins
- Ensure websites are responsive, fast, and SEO-friendly
- Troubleshoot bugs, performance issues, and site errors
- Collaborate with designers and marketing teams to execute projects
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Web Developer
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with Shopify and WordPress (themes, customization, troubleshooting)
- Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization
- Familiarity with SEO best practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Required
- Portfolio of live Shopify and/or WordPress websites (required — links must be provided)
- Ability to explain your technical approach and development decisions
- Experience deploying and maintaining live websites

Nice to Have
- Shopify Liquid experience
- Custom WordPress theme or plugin development
- Experience with page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg, WPBakery)
- Git/GitHub version control
- Experience with eCommerce optimization and conversions

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
