Job Description:

Java Developer/ SE4

Location: Wilmington DE (local candidates required)

Contract: W2 Only - 1 year duration

Visas accepted: US Citizen, Green Card, H4 and GC EAD

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Java/J2EE Web Applications using Spring (Core, MVC, AOP, Batch, Spring Boot).
• Implement Web Services (REST, SOAP).
• Utilize JMS and messaging technologies (e.g., Kafka).
• Work with Cloud Technologies (AWS/PCF/Azure).
• Manage relational (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Apply Object-Oriented Design Principles and Patterns.
• Develop microservices (REST/GraphQL) and work with event-driven architecture.
• Utilize code management and continuous integration tools like Gradle, GitHub, Jenkins, NPM.
• Implement CI/CD, Test Driven Development (TDD), Automation testing (BDD, Cucumber etc.), and DevOps practices.
• Demonstrate solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Monitor and gather metrics using tools such as Splunk, CloudWatch, AppDynamics, ElasticSearch.
• Design and build frontend Single-Page Applications (SPAs) using frameworks like HTML5, AngularJS, or ReactJS (preferred).
• Optimize query performance tuning in MongoDB and SQL.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Java/J2EE Web Application Development.
• Strong understanding of Spring framework and web services.
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of continuous integration techniques and tools.
• Experience with modern application development and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance metrics.
• Experience with cloud native technologies such as Azure and AWS is a plus.
• Knowledge of frontend frameworks for SPA development is a plus.
• Experience in relational and NoSQL database management.
