Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Middleware Developer to join the Digital Voice team at our firm for a high-impact Genesys Cloud IVR migration project. This role focuses on designing and developing middleware solutions that integrate Genesys Cloud with enterprise backend systems such as SAP, Oracle, and AWS. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in API development, cloud services, microservices, and enterprise integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop middleware integration components connecting Genesys Cloud IVR workflows with backend systems.
• Build, secure, and maintain RESTful APIs and manage API gateways.
• Develop AWS Lambda functions and integrate with AWS services such as API Gateway and Route 53.
• Integrate middleware with SAP and Oracle using APIs and data transformation techniques.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform.
• Deploy and manage middleware services using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices for APIs and cloud services.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java for middleware and microservices development.
• Hands-on experience with Python for serverless and backend processing.
• Proven experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, Route 53).
• Experience integrating with SAP and Oracle systems.
• Solid knowledge of Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of REST API design and security.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Genesys Cloud APIs and IVR integrations.
• AWS Certification (Solutions Architect or Developer).
• Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack).
