Job Description

We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Front-End Developer to design and build elegant, user-friendly web interfaces that enable clients to access financial insights easily, manage portfolios, and interact with our wealth management platform.

In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Software Engineering III position at Associate level, which is part of the job family responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support business needs.

What you’ll do in the role:

• Work on highly visible sites, primarily on the frontend of the pages developed by Java Developers.
• Collaborate with product teams and engineering specialists to develop solutions from development to production.
• Analyze design requirements and work with various stakeholders.
• Develop new features using functional components.
• Refactor existing classical components into functional components.

Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• JavaScript experience in React.JS.
• Experience in an enterprise environment with React.
• Prior experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
• Proficiency in DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Familiarity with HTML / CSS.
• Java experience (preferred).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Motivated self-starter and a good team player.
• Creative thinking; organized; able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong experience and knowledge in Agile methodologies.

All our positions are located in Calgary, Alberta. We offer a hybrid work environment, combining remote work and attendance in the office.

Knowledge of English is required.
