Job Description

Framestore Integrated Advertising is actively seeking exceptional design talent for freelance opportunities in our US-based offices. We welcome freelancers to submit their details to be kept on our books for future projects. The ideal candidates will be proficient in Photoshop CC, Illustrator, and AfterFX. Experience with Cinema 4D, Houdini, or Maya is a bonus but not essential. The role primarily involves executing animations as designed and art-directed by senior members of the creative team, making strong 2D and/or 3D animation skills essential. Additional skills like drawing/storyboarding, developing character designs, and an interest in typography can be beneficial depending on project requirements.

Requirements

- Proficient in Photoshop CC, Illustrator, AfterFX

- Strong 2D and/or 3D animation skills

- Ability to create highly engaging and complex motion graphics animations

- Experience in conceptualizing and producing design projects in collaboration with internal Art Directors and Creative Directors

- Ability to create style frames, storyboards, motion tests, and treatments for pitch presentations

- Capability to work independently on design projects or as part of a larger team

- Effective time management skills and the ability to assess workload accurately

Compensation

California and New York Employees Pay Range:

- Juniors (<1 year - 3 years experience): $25 - $35 per hour

- Mids (4 - 6 years experience): $400 - $550 per day

- Seniors (6+ years of experience): $600 - $900 per day

The posted range describes the minimum to maximum for this job in New York and California, in accordance with the New York Pay Transparency Bill and the California Pay Transparency Law. The pay in other markets may vary.
