Job Description

The USGA is looking for a Product Designer to join the GHIN team on a temporary, part-time basis as part of the evolution of the GHIN platform into a modern, data-driven, engaging experience for golfers. This role will involve creating intuitive and visually engaging experiences that assist golfers in playing, posting scores, managing their Handicap Index, and connecting with others. The position offers an average of 20 hours per week for a duration of 3-6 months.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional design experience, ideally working on web and mobile consumer applications
• Strong visual and interaction design skills with attention to detail and consistency
• Proficiency in Figma, with experience in shared libraries and component-based design systems preferred
• Strong understanding of UX principles, usability best practices, and design thinking
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of taking feedback from multiple stakeholders and iterating on designs
• Ability to work cross-functionally with design leads, product owners/managers, internal stakeholders, and engineers
• A strong portfolio showcasing relevant digital product design work, with a focus on visual design and UX problem-solving
• Experience with motion design tools (e.g., After Effects, Framer) is a plus
• Experience with user research and product analytics is a plus

Where you’ll be

This role can be performed remotely or in the Liberty Corner, NJ office on a hybrid schedule, averaging 20 hours per week for a period of 3-6 months.

Salary Range

The hourly pay range for this position is $35-45. This range represents what we reasonably expect to pay as starting base compensation for this role. Compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, depth of experience, and relevant certifications.
