Job Title: Senior Backend Software Engineer - Hybrid or Remote

Location: NYC, NY or SF, CA for hybrid; open to Remote anywhere in the USA

In-office Hybrid 2-3 days, with in-office Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Our tech stack includes Python, React, Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform.

Requirements

• Experience at a well-known, high-growth tech startup
• Backend expertise (front-end engineers will be denied)
• Minimum of 4-6 years of software engineering experience, particularly with our tech stack
• Must live in the United States and have experience building quality software applications at scale
• Resume demonstrates promotions/career progression
• Strong preference for candidates in NYC or SF, with remote candidates from reputable fintech companies accepted
• Strong communication skills, able to work cross-functionally
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science preferred
• Experience in building scalable systems from scratch with a fast turnaround
• Experience with web/mobile application development, large-scale distributed systems, or infrastructure management
• Strong time management skills in a fast-paced startup environment
