Job Description

Rewind is a revolutionary startup on a mission to make social media more human. We aim to differentiate ourselves from typical social media platforms by implementing unique features such as:

• Never selling personal data, which we believe has contributed to the addictive nature of social media.
• Not using personalized feeds or recommendation algorithms.
• Publishing all collected data in a public dump daily.
• Resetting the home page every day to mimic human nature.
• Separately managing the features of following and friendships.
• Keeping posts anonymous until the home page reset.
• Allowing posts to be saved permanently in a personal journal.
• Conducting an annual public recap of top posts without revealing authors unless they are friends.
• Assigning a numeric public username that is kept confidential.
• Allowing alternate accounts.
• Preventing app screenshots to maintain privacy.
• Permitting all forms of content without censorship, emphasizing the importance of words.
• Implementing a character limit requiring a minimum of 300 characters to post.
