Job Description

We’re looking for a motivated YouTube Shorts Editor to join our content team and help scale three fast-growing channels. This role starts as an internship and transitions into a paid position once the channels are monetized. This is a hands-on opportunity to build a real portfolio, learn short-form growth strategy, and work directly with creators who post consistently and care about quality.

What You’ll Be Editing

• Podcast clips (funny moments, hot takes, viral conversations)
• Marvel Snap gameplay highlights, deck tech moments, and reactions
• Gaming guides, tips, and educational short-form content

Primary focus is YouTube Shorts, with occasional repurposing for TikTok and Instagram Reels.

Responsibilities

• Edit 45–60 second vertical short-form videos
• Add captions/subtitles optimized for retention
• Use punchy pacing, zooms, and visual emphasis
• Identify strong hooks from longer content
• Follow brand tone for each channel (podcast, competitive gaming, guides)
• Deliver consistent edits on a weekly schedule

Requirements

• Experience editing short-form content (portfolio or samples required)
• Familiarity with YouTube Shorts pacing and trends
• Strong sense of timing, comedy beats, and engagement hooks
• Basic knowledge of gaming culture (Marvel Snap experience is a plus)
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
• Reliable communication and ability to hit deadlines
