Fidelity TalentSource is your destination for discovering your next temporary role at Fidelity Investments. We are currently sourcing for an experienced UX Designer to work at the Fidelity Center for Applied Technology (FCAT) in Durham, NC. The FCAT Design team is focused on exploring technologies such as AI, Blockchain, Cryptocurrencies, Quantum Computing, and emerging FinTech. As a catalyst for breakthrough achievements in research and tech, FCAT aims to advance Fidelity’s market leadership and enhance customer experiences by assessing, testing, and scaling concepts and ideas.

Requirements

• Support UX and product development work with external start-ups, bringing resources and expertise.
• Create and consult on exhibit and large format experience designs for the corporate experience center.
• Work in various digital mediums including mobile prototypes and large format touch screens.
• Find the intersection of desirability, viability, and feasibility in new product creation.
• Create sketches and wireframes to explore innovative solutions.
• Deliver detailed UX designs and interactive prototypes for project stakeholders.
• Tell project and product stories through videos and presentations.

Success in this role includes helping 2–3 startups refine their MVPs through UX guidance and support, as well as launching 3+ guest-facing experiences that spark curiosity and engagement.
