Job Description

We are looking to widen our base of contractors in the area and working this event could lead to further opportunities for future event assignments. We need videographers for an upcoming showcase tournament in Cincinnati, OH, taking place on February 21 and 22, 2026. Game times vary from starting as early as 8am to 8pm. The locations for the event are as follows:

  • Queen City Arena: 10765 Reading Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241
  • Heritage Bank Arena: 100 Broadway, Cincinnati, OH 45202

Rate of pay is $250/day. Must be able to work as a local in Cincinnati, OH.

Your role will involve providing quality filming of hockey games that are streamed LIVE on FloHockey. You will need to be set up and ready to film at your location 60 minutes prior to game start time. Collaboration with the on-site engineer will be required to ensure a high-quality broadcast. Some setup and breakdown of equipment may also be necessary, including taping down cables for safety. All equipment must be maintained in good working order.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience playing hockey or knowledge of the sport, which is highly preferred. Video and audio production knowledge is a plus. The ability to work early mornings and late nights is essential, as games can start as early as 7am and end as late as 11pm. Additionally, candidates must be able to stand for extended periods in cold ice arenas. Please indicate in your application the availability for the event dates.
