AI Engineer is needed in Nepal.

This role is for an engineer who will build a production AI legal platform that uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) with embeddings and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector) so large language models (OpenAI/Anthropic) can query and synthesize information from large document corpora such as FOIA documents, EPA ECHO data, regulations.gov records, and internal files. The engineer will create agentic AI workflows that route queries across multiple sources, integrate external data through Model Context Protocol (MCP), perform document ingestion and retrieval, and generate legal outputs like complaints, affidavits, and legal memos, along with PRP identification, entity recognition, and contamination topography mapping. They must also build and operate the full application: migrate and containerize a Streamlit app from Snowflake to AWS using Lambda, Fargate/ECS, S3, Cognito (OIDC), and API Gateway, implement Docker-based services, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (CDK/Terraform), and optimize performance (latency, cold starts, secure Fargate-to-S3 access). The system includes a user interface for document querying, markdown rendering, citation linking, session management, prompt history, and usage analytics using Python with LangChain or LlamaIndex, delivering a secure, scalable, production-ready platform rather than only a standalone ML model.
