Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented 3D Modeling / CAD Designer specializing in SolidWorks or Onshape to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise, detailed 3D models and technical drawings that bring concepts to life. Your expertise will directly contribute to the development of mechanical components, assemblies, and prototypes, ensuring designs meet rigorous standards of quality and functionality. Requirements

• Proven experience with 3D modeling and CAD design using SolidWorks or Onshape in a professional setting.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and drafting standards.
• Proficiency in creating schematics, technical drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Familiarity with related software such as SketchUp, NavisWorks, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, or 2D animation tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of construction processes and experience working within multidisciplinary teams is advantageous.
• Autonomous, self-starter who anticipates customer questions and needs and comes prepared with quality responses.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to interpret technical specifications accurately.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate seamlessly across departments and convey complex design concepts clearly.

Nice to Have

• 5+ years designing energy storage systems.
• 5+ years’ experience in the C&I BESS market.
• Able to work long hours and help motivate the team, at least until we have sustained traction.
• C&I BESS AI developer - The role is to develop an AI tool that optimizes our customers’ monetization and resilience of our BESS/PCS/EMS load control installed at their site utilizing a custom AI tool.
