Job Description
FGS Global is looking for an experienced UX Designer to provide project support to the firm’s Website team. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands both UX thinking and execution and is comfortable moving from research and wireframes into production-ready site structures using Webflow. The UX Designer will partner with creative designers, developers, and account teams to design user-centered experiences for the firm’s clients that are practical, scalable, and aligned with business goals. This engagement may be performed on-site or hybrid from our Washington, D.C., New York City, or Kingston, NY offices, as needed for collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Design & Prototyping: Create wireframes, low- and mid-fidelity prototypes, and UX documentation in Figma. Develop sitemaps and page structures as part of a scalable design-to-build workflow.
- Webflow Execution: Collaborate closely with developers and directly implement designs in the Webflow platform. Ensure UX intent is preserved through build, including layout, interactions, animations, and accessibility best practices.
- Collaboration: Work alongside UX/UI designers, developers, and project managers to iterate on solutions, while carefully tracking and incorporating feedback. Present design and UX rationale clearly to internal stakeholders and account teams.
- Design Systems & Assets: Contribute to and help maintain design systems, component libraries, and UX guidelines. Create UX-related assets that support consistent implementation across projects.
- Iteration & Quality: Apply feedback from testing, internal reviews, and client input to refine designs. Ensure experiences meet usability, accessibility, performance, and motion standards.
- UX Strategy & Research: Plan and conduct user research activities such as interviews, usability testing, and content audits. Translate research findings into clear UX recommendations, user flows, and information architecture.

- Experience designing and implementing website animations and interactions.
- Basic understanding of front-end concepts (HTML/CSS) as they relate to UX.
