Job Description

You will own the technical ecosystem and operate with zero hand-holding in various responsibilities, including AI-Driven Development, Hosting & Server Management, DNS & Domain Management, Site Optimization, and Troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Mastery of FTP/SFTP: Proficient in navigating server directories (FileZilla, Cyberduck, or command line).
• DNS Expert: Knowledgeable in managing registrars like GoDaddy, Namecheap, and Cloudflare.
• AI Native: Ability to use AI tools like Gemini/ChatGPT to generate high-quality web layouts.
• Efficiency Obsessed: Constantly looking for ways to improve build time without compromising quality.
• Full Ownership: Proactive in resolving technical issues independently.

Core Responsibilities (The Backend)

• AI-Driven Development: Generate clean, responsive front-end code based on client intake forms using AI tools.
• Hosting & Server Management: Manage server environment via FTP/SFTP, including folder structure and directory permissions.
• DNS & Domain Management: Expert handling of DNS records to ensure quick domain pointing to our server.
• Site Optimization: Ensure fast load times, mobile responsiveness, and basic SEO for each launch.
• Troubleshooting: Independently resolve SSL certificate issues, 404 errors, and propagation delays.

Workflow & Expectations

• The Intake: Receive the client name, industry, and branding preferences.
• The Mockup: Generate a high-fidelity mockup within 15 minutes for sales calls.
• The Launch: Move the site from the staging environment to the live domain after deal closure.
• The Hand-off: Provide a live URL and verify functionality of all contact forms and links.

Compensation & Hours

• Type: 1099 Independent Contractor.
• Rate: $250.00 Flat Fee per site, with 3–5 sites per week expected initially.
• Schedule: 100% Remote and flexible hours, with a “1-hour turnaround” expectation during business hours.
