Job Description

Penmac is hiring a Digital Content Creator for a client company in Fort Smith. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning written materials into clear, engaging digital training content. The Digital Content Creator will work a minimum of 30 hours per week and use a variety of digital tools to build eLearning materials.

Requirements

• Strong writing ability.
• Strong ability to plan, multi-task, and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
• Experience using tools such as Articulate, Scribe, Synthesia, or Easy Generator.
• Ability to work from Word files, PowerPoints, SOPs, guidelines, screenshots, and SME-written content.
• Experience in curriculum design and development preferred.
• Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Build standard eLearning modules, microlearning units, video tutorials, and step-by-step digital guides based on provided content.
• Convert existing documentation into organized, interactive digital training assets.
• Follow organization-provided templates, style guides, scripts, branding guidelines, and formatting requirements.
• Edit and structure supplied content for clarity and alignment without changing the original intent or process.
• Produce voiceovers using Synthesia avatars when needed.
• Prepare graphics, screen recordings, and visuals to support assigned training modules.
• Collaborate minimally with requestors to clarify format or instructions.
• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and digital readiness of all training materials.
• Adapt to changing tasks as new digital tools and technologies evolve.

Compensation and Schedule

• Starting pay is $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience.
• Minimum of 30 hours per week.
