Job Description

The need is for a Senior Data Conversion / ETL Specialist who will step into an active implementation and own the migration from JD Edwards (JDE) to Dayforce. Prior migration experience is critical, and this role is not intended for ramp-and-train. HRIS data migration experience is strongly preferred, though candidates with ERP-to-ERP ETL project experience will also be considered. Public-sector experience is advantageous, as this environment values process over speed.

Requirements

Must Have

• Senior-level ETL / data conversion experience
• Strong SQL Server skills (queries, joins, transformations)
• Hands-on experience with SSIS
• Experience on large, multi-month enterprise implementations
• Automation experience (Python or PowerShell)
• Comfortable joining an active project with minimal hand-holding
• Ability to work hybrid in Seattle (2–3 days onsite)

Nice to Have

• HRIS migrations (Dayforce, Workday, ADP, etc.) – preferred
• ERP-to-ERP data migrations (EMR experience is a plus)
• Public sector or highly regulated environment experience
• Deep HR functional knowledge

Not Required

• College degree
• Cloud-first data stacks or data science background

Additional Information

Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite)

Duration: 1 year+ contract
