We are searching for creative writers who can craft high-stakes, high-steam fantasy romance stories. This project focuses on developing sensory-rich world-building where strong chemistry between characters is essential and the magical adventure is at the heart of the plot. You will develop engaging short-form episodes or full-length serials within the ‘romantasy’ subgenre, blending epic fantasy with emotional and physical intimacy that is central to the story. Mastery in building tension, strong emotional resonance, and writing descriptive, consensual intimacy is required. Familiarity with popular romance tropes such as enemies-to-lovers, fated mates, and forced proximity as well as the ability to maintain engaging cliffhangers is important. Writers will have input in magic systems and lore, working within set heat-level guidelines. There are opportunities for ongoing series and recurring work, with rates typically based on word count or completed chapters.
