We are a growing cannabis company based in Ohio dedicated to providing high-quality cannabis products to the state’s medical marijuana and adult use market. Our mission is to educate consumers about responsible cannabis use while promoting our brand throughout the state. We’re looking for a talented freelance Photographer/Videographer to help bring our brand to life through engaging photo and video content for marketing and social media. This role will focus on capturing high-quality, social-first visuals across multiple facilities, including lifestyle, product, behind-the-scenes, and branded content. The ideal candidate is creatively driven, comfortable working in active environments, and understands how to create content that performs on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and other digital channels.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Capture high-quality photo and video content for marketing, social media, and digital campaigns
• Create short-form, social-first video content optimized for various platforms
• Travel regularly to company facilities throughout Ohio and West Virginia
• Collaborate with Marketing and Creative teams to execute content needs and creative direction
• Deliver edited assets in a timely manner, aligned with brand standards
• Adapt shooting style based on platform, audience, and campaign goals

Qualifications:

• Strong photography and videography portfolio demonstrating social-first content
• Proven experience creating content for social media and digital marketing
• Own professional-grade photo and video equipment
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel regularly
• Strong attention to detail, composition, lighting, and storytelling
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Experience working with lifestyle, product, or branded content
• Cannabis industry experience (a plus, not required)
• Basic motion graphics or advanced editing skills

Additional Information

• This is a freelance/contract position with ongoing opportunities based on performance and business needs
• Travel is a regular and essential part of this role, especially in the Huron, OH area
• Expect 10 hours of work per week on average
