Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Web Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing visually appealing, user-friendly websites that align with our brand identity and meet client needs. This role requires a strong foundation in digital design, interaction design, and web development, with an emphasis on usability, accessibility, and responsive design. The Web Designer will collaborate closely with developers, marketers, and content creators to deliver engaging digital experiences across various platforms.

Requirements

• Proficiency in digital design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and Figma.
• Strong understanding of interaction design principles and user-centered design methodologies.
• Experience with motion graphics creation using Adobe After Effects or similar software.
• Knowledge of front-end development languages including HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS/SASS), JavaScript (AJAX), PHP, Node.js, React, Angular, Redux, and Bootstrap framework.
• Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress, Drupal, SharePoint; experience with website maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to conduct user research and analyze web analytics data via Google Analytics 360 or Adobe Analytics to inform design decisions.
• Skills in wireframing tools such as Balsamiq or Axure for planning website layouts.
• Understanding of SEO best practices and web accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience with version control systems like Git for collaborative development projects.
• Knowledge of information architecture principles for organizing content effectively.
• Strong graphic design skills with expertise in layout design and typography for visual consistency across platforms.
• Familiarity with digital marketing strategies including email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp or similar tools.

Duties

• Implement front-end development tasks using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular, React, and other relevant technologies.
• Optimize websites for SEO performance and ensure compatibility across all devices and browsers.
• Enhance user experience through usability testing, user research, and data analysis using Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.
• Maintain and update existing websites built on WordPress, Drupal, SharePoint, or custom CMS platforms.
• Ensure web accessibility standards are met by adhering to best practices in layout design and information architecture.
• Collaborate on content management system integration and website maintenance tasks.
• Stay current with industry trends in digital marketing, UI/UX design, and web technologies to continuously improve design quality.
