Job Description

On Point is seeking talented, hardworking crew members to assist in creating an exhilarating atmosphere during dance competitions. The Videographer will be responsible for preserving lasting memories for On Point competitors by capturing high-quality video footage and managing video files effectively. The role requires teamwork, problem-solving, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Based in/near Central NJ with the ability to travel the east coast from March through May.
• Availability for all required dates, including Thursday departures and Monday returns.
• Experience operating a Panasonic video camera, preferably in low-light conditions.
• Competent in using PC and MAC computers for file storage and management.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Positive, can-do personality and well-groomed appearance.
• Able to work long hours in high-stress environments.
• Physically able to lift and move equipment for event setup and breakdown.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Past experience with dance conventions/competitions is a plus but not mandatory.

Other Information

This position is a part-time, seasonal, 1099 contract role with weekly compensation tiered up to $700. Event transportation, double-occupancy hotel accommodations, and on-site meals are provided. All interviews will take place in Hillsborough, NJ. Candidates must ensure their voicemail is set up to receive messages.
