JOB DESCRIPTION

Crossmedia is seeking a passionate and collaborative Engineer, Data and Solutions for a TEMPORARY six-month role within our technology team. This team develops innovative solutions to empower clients to make data-driven optimized media investment decisions with precision, scalability, and speed. Your role will ensure all Crossmedia accounts are consistently supported with high levels of data accuracy, integrity, integration, and actionable insights. You will also develop and document best practices across data and AI operations in alignment with our mission. The Engineer will play an integral part in the “XM Product” delivered to clients, providing strategic guidance based on an understanding of business, target consumers, and category dynamics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and enhance the Redbox integrated data layer across Measurement, Audience, Optimization, and Insights.
• Partner with offshore data and development resources for timely and quality delivery of data solutions.
• Collaborate with clients and team leads to create best-in-class AI strategies and solutions.
• Stay updated on developments in AI for application to the XM Product.
• Ensure the resilience and future-proofing of key Redbox data infrastructure.
• Support client and partner data integrations and automate audience, optimization, and analytics solutions.
• Coordinate data workflows and requirements with Redbox practice leads.
• Champion a culture of continuous innovation and operational excellence.
• Oversee implementation of solutions prototyping huddles and sprints.
• Own and document all media and solutions data infrastructure.
• Collaborate to develop automation and AI investment requirements.
• Work with Analytics Operations to ensure global scalability and compliance with regional data regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Five years of experience in integrated media data engineering, including data architecture and solutions development.
• Preference for experience within a media advertising agency.
• 4+ years of experience with media ETL platforms and data processing frameworks (e.g., Adverity, Funnel, Fivetran, etc.).
• Expertise in implementing cloud data solutions (Snowflake, Databricks).
• Experience in data modeling and batch data pipeline design.
• Experience in building batch or real-time data pipelines.
• Strong software development skills, particularly in Python/PySpark or Scala.
• High proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with cloud infrastructures (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience with orchestration platforms (Airflow, Astronomer).
• Attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to work independently in a cross-functional team.
• Comfortable with CI/CD Pipelines.
• Experience with Git and software adjacent tools.
• Understanding of marketing data complexities and their application to measurement methodologies.
• Experience in developing automation solutions, including AI-based solutions.
• Evidence of exceptional media analytics practices and leadership.
• Desire to innovate for operational efficiency.
• Demonstrated project management and organization skills.
• Ability to work and thrive in a collaborative environment.
• Experience with complex international agency structures.
• Team management experience, including mentoring and performance reviews.
• Strong listening skills and willingness to compromise in a team setting.
