Job Description

On Point is seeking talented, hardworking crew members to join us in creating an unforgettable experience for dance competition participants. The Videographer will be responsible for preserving lasting memories for competitors, capturing high-quality footage, and contributing to the event production team.

Requirements

• MUST have video camera experience; will use On Point’s equipment.
• MUST have PC and MAC computer experience; will use On Point’s computers for video file management.
• Reliability and attention to detail is a MUST; routine videos must not be missed or lost.
• Positive, can-do personality.
• Well-groomed appearance.
• Ability to work long hours in high-stress theatrical production environments.
• Located within a reasonable driving distance of Hillsborough, NJ.
• Will share responsibility for driving company van paid for by On Point.
• Physically able to lift/lower equipment for load-in/load-out and event setup/breakdown.
• Past dance convention/competition experience is helpful but not required.

Job Availability

This position is part-time, seasonal, 1099 contract. Candidates must be available for all of the following dates, including corresponding Thursday and Monday travel:

• February 21 - Mandatory Training Event (Saturday only)
• February 27 - March 1
• March 13-15
• May 1-3
• July 6-12

Compensation and Logistics

Weekly compensation is tiered based on the length of each event, with a maximum of $700. Event transportation, double-occupancy hotel accommodations, and on-site meals are provided.
