Job Description

We’re hiring a friendly, outgoing Street Interview Host to conduct short, casual interviews in public for social media content related to beauty and everyday lifestyle. No professional knowledge or experience in beauty is required.

Requirements

• Comfortable speaking to strangers
• Friendly and confident personality
• Clear English communication skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Smartphone capable of recording 1080p video
• Must be based in NYC

Job Details

• Location: Upper East Side, NYC
• Pay: $200 per 2–3 hour shift
• Schedule: Flexible, project-based
• Format: Vertical smartphone video (Instagram Reels–style)
• Minimum of 7 completed interview videos per shift
• Additional compensation provided for each approved interview beyond 7

This is a paid test shift with the potential for ongoing work.

What You’ll Do

• Approach people in public and ask simple, provided questions
• Keep conversations natural and engaging
• Film vertical smartphone videos (1–2 minutes per person)
• Capture clear audio and steady footage
• Upload raw video files after the shift

No video editing is required, but candidates who can also edit vertical social media clips may be offered additional paid opportunities.
